Estamos en modo Star Wars. Por eso no tenemos una, si no dos reseñas de quienes tuvieron la suerte de asistir a las funciones de media noche. uno de ellos es fanático declarado, el otro, Neeeehhhh. Veamos que dice cada uno.
Hablar (o escribir en este caso) sobre el nuevo episodio de Star Wars, es meterse en un terreno complejo. Complejo, porque no solo te enfrentas a una película, te enfrentas a su historia, lo que provocó, la leyenda, el inconsciente colectivo, la cultura pop, los fans y tantas otras cosas que son difíciles de cuantificar. A eso hay que sumarle el respeto y la protección a la gente que no quiere tener detalles sobre la trama, esos fans más duros (en Cinetoscopio tenemos varios) que ya tienen su ticket comprado hace un montón de tiempo.
Habiendo dicho lo anterior, y sin entrar en mayores detalles, esta nueva entrega de Star Wars cumple con todo lo que los fanáticos quieren y esperan de esta saga. Se nota que hay una preocupación por los detalles, un deseo real de volver a los orígenes y conectar con la gente que ha seguido la historia durante años, y que por otro lado, aún sufren con las precuelas. Hay mimo en cada detalle, y eso, siempre se agradece.
Por otro lado, y estando Disney de por medio, también hay un interés en conectar con las nuevas generaciones. Los nuevos personajes toman la posta de buena manera, tienen tiempo para crecer y en ningún momento se siente opacados por la “antigua generación”. Nota aparte para el pequeño BB-8. Pieza maestra y reemplazo magistral para el viejo y querido R2-D2.
La puesta en escena es de gran factura, no hay abuso del CGI y la música acompaña de gran manera (no al nivel de la trilogía original eso sí). Aquí se respiran las locaciones y no las pantallas verdes. En resumen, el conjunto nos devuelve a la galaxia muy, muy lejana de forma inmediata.
Hubo un despertar en la fuerza… Y esta vez, da la sensación que nunca más se volverá a apagar.

Estoy haciendo el esfuerzo de ser los MÁS imparcial posible. Cuando uno tiene sentimientos demasiado fuertes por algo (lo que sea), terminamos poniéndonos bastante hueones y talibanes la mayoría de las veces.
Que yo haya estudiado cine y además sea parte de un colectivo que escribe de cine, es completa responsabilidad de Star Wars. Disfrute de Niño la trilogía original, y si, lo confieso, disfrute las precuelas (Gargajos vengan a mi). Esta bien, Jar Jar es bastante ridículo y el episodio 1 es el mas bajo de la saga, no por eso desechable como algunos quieren hacer ver (Rod Hilton te estoy mirando a ti y tu orden machete). No soy de los que se disfraza y su vida gira en torno a la saga. Sin embargo he estado en cada estreno y reestreno en primera fila emocionado cuando aparece la leyenda “Hace mucho tiempo…”. Jamás despontrincare contra George Lucas, me considero un agradecido, sin el esto no existiría, así de simple. Siento que el mundo ñoño lo trata demasiado mal, más de lo que se merece. Yo no podría, no estaría escribiendo estas líneas de no ser por el.
Habiendo hecho esta declaración de principios entremos en tema. Es tanta la expectativa que genera esta película que cualquier cosa que se mencione sobre TFA, saltan varios rasgando vestiduras mientras gritan SPOILER. Es cosa de ver lo que paso con los 17 spot de Tv más los trailers, varios querían linchar a Disney y la palabra Spoiler se mencionaba a cada rato. Si bien estos avances traían siempre una imagen nueva, JAMÁS dio ningún indicio de la trama central. Esto lo doy con razón de causa después de haber visto ya dos veces TFA. Así que AntiSopilersNazis, les recomiendo que busquen en el diccionario dicha palabra antes de andar malgastándola en cualquier momento.
Lo primero que les recomiendo a quienes no la han visto aún es: Bajen el Hype, si no, pueden decepcionarse un tanto y no disfrutar como se debe. Segundo: Elijan un buen cine para ver la película, Anoche la vi en la sala XD de Alto Las Condes y el sonido dejaba bastante que desear, la imagen eso si estaba impecable. Hoy en la mañana la vi en Hoyts San Agustín y la imagen era oscura pal pico, pero el sonido estaba bien y se apreciaba mejor la música de Williams, que en un principio la sentí como degastada, cansada, pero ahora que la volví a ver, sentí toda su potencia y majestuosidad. Estoy esperando para hoy a la tarde mi experiencia IMAX que debe ser la mejor sala para ver TFA. Ahí les contare la experiencia en nuestro podcast especial que grabamos el Domingo.
Hay cosas que se extrañan. Como la fanfarria Fox. No está el castillo Disney y eso se agradece, pero el comienzo es seco con el logo de Lucasfilms en silencio y eso desencaja un poco. Luego de eso comienza el Main Title con el texto perdiéndose en el espacio y la magia comienza.
The Force Awakens no es perfecta. Hay cosas que quedan en el aire y hay un par de personajes que le dieron mucho énfasis y son nada en la trama. Hay malgasto de recurso, no pueden darle a Max Von Sydow un papel tan corto. Sin embargo según mi criterio, esta en el top 3 por debajo del episodio 5 y 4. Tiene ese aire análogo (Fue filmado en celuloide y no en digital) hay CGI, pero también hay maqueta y latex y eso nos rememora la trilogía original.
Ahora, no es un remember de la trilogía original. Los protagonistas son otros, Leia Luke y Han están al servicio de la narración, pero no son los que llevan la historia. Esta bien reconozco que Han se roba parte de la película en conjunto con BB-8 el nuevo robot Awwww que nos da Hollywood. Pero insisto, es una nueva generación, y los reyes de la fiesta son Rey, Finn y Poe como los buenos y Kylo Ren como el villano, no tan perfectamente creado como Vader, pero es un villano que tiene matices y conflictos, más parecido a Vader en su etapa Anakin en el episodio 3. Para las nuevas generaciones estos personajes serán los que recordarán con cariño cuando sean adultos peludos y hediondos como quien les escribe.
TFA me recordó mucho en su estructura al episodio 4 (A New Hope). Se desarrolla de una manera muy similar, salvo el final, este te deja una sensación de CTM tengo que esperar 2 años para ver como continua. Hay muchas cosas que quedan en el aire al igual que ciertos personajes, yo supongo que es porque se desarrollarán en los próximos 2 episodios de esta nueva trilogía.
Podría finalizar diciendo J J Abrams, te la compré, la hiciste bien. Felicitaciones, espero que quienes te suplanten lo hagan igual de bien y no se peguen un guatazo que nos hagan irnos de hocico al suelo en la próxima entrega.
Termino recordando el maestro Oogway “El pasado es historia, El futuro es incierto, pero el hoy es un regalo, por eso se llama presente”. Muchachos, vayan, y disfruten. Que Star Wars llegó a la ciudad, y es el evento de fin de año.
