Debo haber tenido unos 7 años, la primera vez que leí el principito.
Luego muchas veces más.
Alguna vez en la universidad un profe me reto y me dijo que yo no era capaz de ver un elefante!! Le respondí que a veces los elefantes están dentro de una serpiente…. Me subió la nota.
Desde hace muchas generaciones, la mayoría de los niños han leído El Principito de Antoine de Saint-Exupéry de 1943.
Todos los niños que nacimos después de 1943 y los que seguirán naciendo algún día leerán esta historia que se convirtió en un clásico universal.
Yo lo leí siendo niña, adolescente y adulta, lo leí en muchas ocasiones a mis hijos y ahora lo hago con mi nieta.
He visto varios intentos de traspasar la magia y emoción del libro a la pantalla cinematográfica. Pero todas se han quedado a medias.
Esta versión 2015 es hermosa y sensible. Está basada en la historia que todos conocemos, pero es una reversión muy creativa y actual. Es una delicia para los que sabemos el libro de memoria.
Esta vez la historia Central no es del aviador sino de una niña encantadora con una madre agobiada por las responsabilidades, asustada, sola y que quiere que su hija sea feliz. Pero lo que ella entiende por feliz, es el éxito académico y consecuentemente, el posterior éxito profesional.
Intenta ordenar la vida de su hija, con calendarios, horarios y metas ordenando las directrices de la vida de la pequeña desde hoy hasta varios años más. Minuciosamente, con minutos y segundos, en un plan maestro .Su meta más próxima es que la pequeña sea aceptada en una prestigiosa academia con profesores que no sonríen nunca y que pretenden que su colegio sea una fábrica de premios Nobel.
Es solo una madre asustada, que se siente sola y agobiada, con una niña que solo quiere ser niña, pero que tiene que cumplir paso a paso cada día el proyecto “Plan de Vida” que está dispuesto ocupando un enorme muro. en el otro muro, espera el reluciente y planchado uniforme de la academia Werth.
Están en un nuevo vecindario con casas iguales y ordenadas. Mientras la madre trabaja y la niña está sola haciendo ejercicios matemáticos. Se produce el encuentro. El vecino extraño, excéntrico, es un anciano aviador que intenta una y otra vez volar su viejo avión.
Vecino anciano, extravagante, solitario y con muchas ganas de compartir sus historias de viajes y encuentros.
La amistad sólida y a toda prueba que se genera entre la niña y el anciano es hermosa y mágica. Ellos se acompañan comparten y vuelan. (En la fantasía y en la realidad)
El aviador le va entregando a la niña, los manuscritos y dibujos del libro. Revistamos algunos de los planetas y asteroides con aquellos personajes que conocemos.
Y finalmente la madre también aprende que; “solo se ve bien con los ojos del corazón”
Las imágenes nos recuerdan a las que siempre han estado en nuestro pequeño imaginario colectivo y han permanecido con nosotros
Las voces de por ej: Marion Cotillard (la rosa) , nos ayudan a viajar en nuestra memoria emotiva. Salimos del cine convencidos , otra vez, que lo más importante es cuidar a nuestra rosa personal.
Y Lo mejor de todo es que no olvidemos dibujar una caja para guardar a nuestro cordero (o un unicornio, si queremos)
