Según un estudio realizado por Netflix, al 60% de los padres alrededor del mundo les gustaría celebrar el año nuevo con sus hijos antes de la medianoche.
A nivel global, el 73% dice que aprovecharía la opción de contar con un contenido bajo demanda para festejar a la hora que deseen la cuenta regresiva con sus niños.

Según un nuevo estudio de Netflix, más de la mitad de los padres en todo el mundo -el 60%- aprovecharía la oportunidad de hacer su cuenta regresiva de Año Nuevo con sus hijos antes de la medianoche. Con los 6 especiales disponibles a partir de hoy, cualquier hora se puede convertir en una celebración. Esta opción ofrece a los padres la conveniencia de celebrar en familia y elegir su personaje favorito con quien festejar:
● Oona y Baba, de Puffin Rock, reviven las aventuras del año pasado y celebran con los fuegos artificiales de la naturaleza: la aurora boreal.
● Los Ositos Cariñositos y sus Primos se preparan para una cuenta regresiva OSO-mbrosa en el episodio ‘Quiéreme Mucho’.
● El Inspector Gadget salva el Año Nuevo de un malvado agente de M.A.D., justo a tiempo para presenciar un impresionante espectáculo de fuegos artificiales.
● El Rey Julien hace honor a su imagen de pachanguero con una cuenta regresiva de 3 minutos para bailar hasta que pase el Año Nuevo.
● El Sr. Peabody y Sherman se lanzan al mundo para reunir a sus presentadores de TV favoritos en una fiesta de Año Nuevo repleta de estrellas incluyendo a Hipo, Chimuelo, el Gato con Botas, los Croods y al equipo entero de Dinotrux.
● McKeyla, Adrienne, Bryden y Camryn, las estrellas de Project Mc2, se unen para la misión de INOVE más importante de todas: ¡fiesta!
Aunque globalmente el 97% de los padres pasan el Año Nuevo en familia, la forma de celebrarlo es diferente según la región:
● La mayor parte de los encuestados en Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Canadá y Australia coinciden en que las 9:00 p.m. es la nueva medianoche. El 49% de los padres de estos países afirma que optará por la famosa cuenta regresiva a las 9:00 p.m.
● Los padres australianos están listos para irse a dormir. El 34% afirma que se irían a dormir después de dar las buenas noches a sus hijos, mucho antes de la medianoche.
● Los italianos y franceses esperan a que llegue la hora de dormir de sus hijos para quedarse solos. En ambos países, la mayoría desea pasar tiempo con su media naranja después de dar las buenas noches a sus hijos (el 50 % y el 43% respectivamente).
● En España y México, los padres prefieren una buena fiesta de Año Nuevo. El 50% de ellos en ambos países esperan ansiosos el momento de acostar a los niños y pasarlo en grande con sus amigos.
● El 41% de los padres estadounidenses ha usado, o planea usar, una cuenta regresiva especial para 2016 a fin de mandar a los niños a dormir más temprano.
● Para los padres brasileños, lo primero es la familia. El 63% afirma que lo mejor de hacer la cuenta regresiva cuando quieran, es poder celebrar el Año Nuevo en familia.
